About Queen's Bakery

Queen's Bakery is a bakery in Los Angeles, California. It is listed at 809 N Broadway, Los Angeles, CA 90012, which places it among the local businesses of Los Angeles that residents and visitors turn to when they need this kind of service close by. Besides its main category, the business also describes itself as bakery, so it may cover more than the name suggests.

Because this group is broad, judging a listing on freshness, turnover and how consistent recent reviews are tends to work better than judging by decor or price range alone. Most kitchens in Los Angeles will adjust a dish for common dietary needs like gluten-free or vegetarian if you ask when ordering. Hours vary widely: diners and fast-food chains often stay open late or around the clock, while bakeries and cafes tend to open early and close mid-afternoon. Catering and food delivery businesses in California usually require advance notice, from a day for a small order up to a week or more for a large event, so it is worth contacting them early.

Hours are published for 7 days a week. The most common schedule is 8:30 am–6:30 pm. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. The listed phone number is (213) 622-9749. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone. Its website is queensbakeryla.com, where you may find menus, price lists or booking options.

Customers rate it 4.6 out of 5 on Google across 378 reviews, placing it among the better-regarded bakeries & donuts in Los Angeles.

Los Angeles is in California, on the West Coast, where the climate ranges from foggy coast to hot inland valleys, wildfire season can affect air quality in late summer, and traffic is the main thing to plan around. Getting around Los Angeles is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across California's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

I ordered a cake for my quinceanera like a month ago and it was the best, not only the flavor but also the design was just like how I wanted it. From now on this is my place to go for cakes!

Queen's bakery has been around a very long time. I remember, as a kid, when our family would visit Chinatown, we would always get almond cookies here. Such fond memories of an unforgettable child goodness! So, we visited Queen's today, I'm now 74 yrs young, and these cookies are still what I remember when I was a kid. The cookie was light and fluffy with the same almond nut on the top. We purchased other baked goodies too. Located in Chinatown on Broadway St., you should visit and get some almond cookies and other bakery goods. There is street parking or public parking lots nearby.

We’ve been getting our cakes from Queens Bakery since I was a little girl, and now I get to continue the tradition by ordering cakes for my daughter. That alone says everything about how special this place is to our family. Every single cake has been absolutely beautiful and delicious always fresh, perfectly decorated, and a huge hit at every party. People constantly ask where we got the cake from! The flavors are amazing, the designs are stunning, and you can really taste the quality and care they put into their work. They are know for almond cover cake and it was so cute they incorporated on the bee design. It means so much to support a bakery that has been part of our family celebrations for generations. Queens Bakery never disappoints. Highly recommend for birthdays and any special occasion! 🎂✨

This place has been here for ages and as long as I can remembered. I used to go here for their sweet treats. Service is very friendly and family oriented for sue. Their baked goods are good and very affordable just yummy!! Parking can be a hectic since most are street parking (paid meters) or pay parking lot within walking distance. The place is dated since it has been there forever, and yes they should be updated but I don’t think they ever have. But they do keep it clean as much as they can.

Spotted this little bakery while walking through Chinatown and decided to check it out for my husband’s birthday cake. He chose the mango cake, and let me tell you—it’s the best cake we’ve ever had. Perfectly balanced, not too sweet, just right. It looked beautiful, and they even added a free “Happy Birthday” sign. I also appreciated that they provided a box and a plastic knife for easy carrying and cutting. We loved it so much, we’re already planning to go back for another cake this week!
